Food was packaged really well. I could order multiple Accompaniment Plates because all the sides are great. The Pulled Chicken Sandwich was absolutely full of chicken so they do not skimp. The Rocklands Pearl is a great value if you're into pulled pork, beans, and Mac and cheese. We ordered a side Roll to make it into a sandwich. You really cant go wrong.

I ordered the half rack beef ribs with baked beans, fried okra and banana pudding. The beef was EXTREMELY fatty and tasteless. The BBQ sauce was all vinegar. The sides were very small. The okra had no flavor. Worst ribs I've ever had. Banana pudding was tepid and runny and a very small serving. Delivered through Door Dash. I will not order from here again.

My Pulled Chicken Sandwich was cold. I was charged almost $6 extra for sides and received a small scoop of burnt/cold Mac and cheese. The collard greens were hot and tasty. Won't order from here again.

Had this resturant's food truck a couple of Sundays ago at the Four Mile Park Farmers Market in Alexandria on Mt. Vernon Rd. I should have known that something was off, because when I went to their food truck, no staff was inside manning the truck. Had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to come back to the truck. I didn't mind waiting because I thought I was in for some good soul food. Nope. Brisket tasted like beef sandwich meat drenched in barbeque sauce. The collard greens tasted like they were from the can. The best thing was the potato salad, which was mediocore. Don't waste your 20 bucks on this place.

DO NOT ORDER. Go to mission BBQ instead. They charge 16 for wings and burn them, burn cookie too! . I call the manager he says, "thanks for letting me know and hangs up." 30 dollars down the drain.
