Better than Five Guys, the 8 oz Grilled Burger medium rare is generously portioned with fresh vegetables and beef and prepared with fresh seasonings and provided with fresh sauce for the burger; I love the freshly fried potatoes for the french Fries as well. Excellent burger that should be considered the best burger in DC: the taste is not greasy but freshly made with proper seasoning to it in a large portion with fresh vegetables and bacon (by choice) with an excellent sauce; I ordered this one with the bun separately served to avoid having delivery issues with the bun. I am ordering the 8 oz Grilled Burger again this week!

I'm so happy to try the Grilled Lamb Sandwich with lettuce for dinner, which was delicious, fresh, and filling with tender lamb with tasty BBQ sauce that enhanced the texture and flavor of the meat that I ordered medium rare and served with the potato bun separately for transport. Happy Juneteenth to everyone who continues to be inspired to make great Southern food at Rocklands.

The Baby Back Ribs Half Rack was cold, dry, bland and under portioned for the price. You wouldn't know the Honey Jalapeño Cornbread had jalapenos unless you see the few green specs. Bland. Fell apart. Should be complementary. The Pearl was good, but too much sauce. Pecan pie decent. Let down, I will not order again.

The 8oz Grilled Burger were two thin patties like the ones you would get at a fast food restaurant. The burger was salty. I selected extra lettuce, cooked onion and picked. I didn't get pickles but did get 2 slices of tomatoes which I specifically did not want. The collards were too salty. There were no napkins, silverware or condiments included. I won't be ordering from here again.
