another incredible dish from this restaurant. the chicken katsu never fails and this time I tried the hamburger steak and it was so good I inhaled it the gravy was delicious the rice was amazing. I can't get enough of this place.

I ordered the Hamburger Steak Plate with extra gravy. The mac salad was in a separate container on the side and the rice was smothered with hamburger & gravy goodness. The meal was prepared well and seasoned just right.

The Poke Bowl is legit! As someone originally from HI, this was the freshest tasting ahi I've had in CO (including some places I've gone in Denver even). It came out just like the photos, but sorry can't share my own pic cuz we ate it all xD.
Plate lunches have all been great and it's so nice to get a taste of home here in the Springs! :)

I ordered from Roots Cafe and it was easily a 5/5 experience. I went with the extra portion, and it was way more food than I expected—in the best way possible. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care, and the quality absolutely matched the price. The packaging was solid, the food traveled well, and the portion size made it completely worth it. I’d definitely order from here again when I’m looking for something filling and satisfying.

Short answer: AMAZING. Eat here. Dont even think about it.
Long answer: Amazing food. Fast service. I got the Mixed Plate - Choose 2. I picked the katsu chicken. Its a panko breaded boneless chicken thigh fried to perfection with a sweet and savory tonkatsu sauce. I also picked the kalbi ribs. Grilled with a sweet and savory marinade. Both chicken and ribs were served over a bed of rice. There was a scoop of steamed rice on the side and a scoop of their macacroni salad. Best Hawaiian mac salad I've ever had. I also got the Spam Musubi. Oder this. Spam, rice and I'm assuming teriyaki sauce (delicious btw) wrapped in nori. Lastly I got a side of Kimchee which is served cold. Crunchy cool cucumbers cut in quarters with salt and maybe some gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)? I'm not sure I should have asked but its a great side to add some spice to your entrees. Eat here. If you're not sure, trust me bro. Its good.
