Now that the remodel is complete, the fries are always back up to the great standard they were at for the previous 30 years! The onion rings are always crisp and tasty, too, as are their burgers and salads and Runza's! My favorite fast food in Lawrence!!

The kids meal was great. However, the original Runza sandwich tasted scorched. This is the first time in 30 years ive had a negative review for them. Lemonade was very tart and had an off taste. I will order again. Too many good years with good food to not give them another opportunity.

It's not a 5 star but it's not a 4 star either more like a 4.5. The burger sandwich is mid at best because it's just a burger long-style. I also did not recieve my mango mojo drink and received the prickly pear instead not bad it was next to try but not what I was expecting. I like the fringe's more this time because they were over salted last time. The French onion burger is great like last time. Still warm and the food doesn't taste like it's been sitting out. Definitely a good amount for the combo.

the cheeseburger was good as usual, but the fries were uncharacteristically soggy. that's only happened 3 times in the 30 or so years of eating the best fries in Lawrence at Runza. i'll be back for more! everybody gets to have a bad day, especially in this heat.
