First time trying the food & everything was flavorful. The portions were enough for more than one person. That cornbread was like cake. Best soul food I've had in a long time. Thank you for great service.

Fried chicken was fine just abit salty and the collar greens tasted very different. The yams lol 😋 sweet. The banana pudding was too much for $8. That was a small. I thought it was s large. I was going to give 3 star's. The food wasn't nasty

Ive been here twice and this place is 2 for 2. I ordered the salmon with green beans and macaroni and cheese. The taste of the Baked Salmon was fresh seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The green beans and macaroni and cheese were great compliments to the Baked Salmon and not to be overlooked. Not one side overpowered the next and as a meal, heavenly!
Ill without a doubt recommend ordering from here. 10/10

The Fried Chicken is good but I wish there was a description. Was hoping for breast, thigh and drumstick but got 4 wings instead. It's tough finding good fried chicken nowadays. The Fried Fish was fine. The sides were actually very good. In particular, the potato salad and candied yams.

1st Let me start by saying that I enjoy "Trying" new restaurants & different dishes. So when I saw there was a new restaurant in the area...
Sooo paying $27 for mainly large side orders was a disservice to soul food platter. I tried the Fried Salmon, this was INCREDIBLY salty, as was the Macaroni & Cheese. The soggy Cobbler & No BANANA WHIPPED CREAM CHEESE Banana Pudding, will never be ordered again! The Bland Vanilla Potato Salad was the best out of the whole order.
