Dang. Had high hopes based on the photos on the website. As soon as I opened the box I noticed the lemon buttercream had shifted. It was too soft and moved as I tried getting the cupcake out. The lemon cake is bland and the lemon flavor of the very disappointing buttercream tasted more of lemon extract that zingy, real lemon flavor. And that decadent, buttery flavor of a good quality buttercream? Nope. With the absolute overall disappointment of the lemon cupcake I decided just to try a little smidge of the frosting of the other three cupcakes. Chocolate, cookies & cream and Hot fudge sundae. I can sum up each flavor profile with a single expression :-/
