Charred Broccolini was super bitter, Half Chicken was fine but not worth how expensive it is. Gigantic Chocolate Cake was a pass - the alcohol in the ganache was overwhelming, the cake had very little flavor and was dry

Ordered a medium-well steak and got a black, burnt chunk of meat — completely inedible. I reordered and clearly wrote “DO NOT BURN THE STEAK. I DO NOT EAT CHARCOAL.”
Guess what? They burned it again. Dry, overcooked, and disgusting.
This was an $80 steak. For that price, it’s a total joke. Never ordering from here again! Waste of money!

Smith and Wollensky is a sentimental favorite. This order was not the best, but I will definitely give them another chance. The great: Everything was well-packaged, and the mashed potatoes were divine! The okay: Ribeye was a perfect medium rare; unfortunately, it was over-charred on one side (like a flare-up happened or something similar). Disappointed: Bailey's chocolate cake was not as moist as usual; favorite split pea soup was slightly under-salted; NO bread was sent with the order (I requested it in two different areas).

Disappointed in overall food quality. The duck confit was very dry and salty. Hard to eat. Beans were very bland. Not close to cassoulet flavor.
Chocolate cake looked beautiful but it was dry. Not what I expected from this restaurant.
