• 30/6/24portion sizes were generous. my Pork Donburi was very flavorful. Chicken Katsu Dinner was juicy, but definitely needed the dipping sauce. it's a nice change up from places that only serve teriyaki bentonite. definitely plan to order from here again!

Poor presentation, old avocado and they cheaped out on ingredients for shrimp tempura. No avocado. Every single Japanese restaurant ive been to has avocado in their shrimp tempura but this one.

• 21/2/24The edamame was undercooked and had no salt. Even salting it myself, it was hard eat (literally hard...hurt my teeth ) . The vegetable gyoza were also undercooked and kind of mealy/mushy on the inside. The yaki udon was okay, and a large portion but the chicken was very dry and the sauce was very sweet. I had to add soy sauce to try to balance it out. The Philly Roll was just okay. Usually, at any other restaurant, it comes with avocado or cucumber (something green), but this roll only came with smoked salmon and cream cheese, which was disappointing. Last, the dragon roll and rainbow roll were GIGANTIC (I couldnt fit even a single piece in my mouth at once, I had to bite it, and it fell apart) and was legitimately 90% rice. I don't mind paying good money for good food, but the special rolls weren't worth even half of what they're charging. I paid A LOT for white sushi rice and very little other ingredients rolled into something comically large that I couldn't really eat. Good luck to tou. This place was highly recommended to me by friends and family and highly rated here on door dash, and I cant say that I agree with that assessment at all. Maybe it was an off night. I don't know. But I was less than impressed by a mile.

• 16/12/22Sono Sushi always follows special instructions, and they have the FRESHEST SUSHI of any restaurant I've been to! Always a treat- Try their Salmon, you won't regret it, it's out of this world! They also have an EXTENSIVE dinner menu for those who don't like sushi! something for everyone at Sono! I'd give 6 stars if I could! Large portion sizes too, unlike many other sushi restaurants! Sono is the way to go!!!

• 9/9/23Old avocado, skimped out on ingredients. Every Japanese restaurant I've been to has avocado in their shrimp tempura but this place gave none. Takumi's gives a larger portion for the same price and it tastes better, won't be returning.
