A little expensive but the portion size is filling (granted I got extra Mac & Cheese) and tastes great. Fried chicken is pretty good, if you get it delivered it loses some of its crispness due to the container it comes in (basically microwave effect) but it's still really good. Honestly hits the spot if you're craving soul food.

I literally just left a previous review last week about how good this place was. This time around I got a $10 side of Mac & Cheese along with my usual and the container is tiny. Literally one of those coleslaw containers restaurants will give you.
The portion size you're giving is not worth the $40 you're charging for this food. It tastes great but you need to be reasonable. I specifically ordered a side due to the portion size expecting a $10 side, not a $5 side. You guys literally didn't even fill the container all the way, as you can see in the pic with all that empty space. Wild.

So, the food is... interesting, but it's overpriced for what you get. Nothing is really all that good. It's not bad, but as I look at the nearly 20 dollar bowl of dollar store steamed veggies and chicken nuggets served over rice they call a bowl.... I'm terminally unimpressed. Pollo Guapo does a good bowl. Pokebowl does a good bowl. Not these guys.
And the Soul Roll is more weird than good.

Not soul food like the south but for CT this is good. The portion size is perfect and you may even have some left over. The collard greens are good and the Mac is creamy I only with the chicken bites were crispy textured on the outside and more juicy on the inside. Overall this is a flavorful & filling option & can satisfy cravings.
