We have been going to SuCasa for 45 years. Our dining experience has been great. Once, we had bad food. That's a good amount of favorable experiences. Today, we had food delivered. The #3 Two Cheese Enchiladas, Beans and Rice & #9 Cheese Enchilada with Beans and Rice. The Enchiladas were hard, like the corn tortilla had been left out, uncovered. So disappointing. The cheese Enchiladas always have a generous amount of cheese. So much that I have to chew it. I love that. However, the Cheese tasted old, with portions hard, like it had dried out. The beans were ok. The rice was ok, really bland. Since I've retired, we dont eat out as often. SuCasa was an every week event. With today's food, it may become a yearly event. we were disappointed.

The Chile verde chimichanga I ordered was soggy and the verde was a red sauce which it doesn't mention the in the menu. There was little tiny pieces of pork about 6 so not meaty at all the red verde sauce was not good. So expensive for this menu item. I'm very disappointed.

Years ago, this place was sooooo delicious. But now I'm sad to say its gone down hill drastically since the original owner passed away. It's stiall OK, but nothing is made to same levelof quality it used to be. The Chimichanga used to havehuge chunks of tender pork, the green Chile verde tasted amazing, every plate wasa hearty meal where you left full. But portions were cut smaller, all the food is more bland and not as great quality, everything seems overblended into a mushy paste instead of hearty chunks of steak, pork or filling. . .I would still go as I said, the food isnt bad but it's priced WAY too expensive compared to what I can get at other Mexican restaurants in the area. If they went back to their original recipes, style and helpings, I would be FIRST one back at their door.
