The food is delicious!! I ordered 2 bbq chicen plates with rice and peas, cabbage, greens, cornbread and Mac & cheese. We had a small hiccup with the order but the ladies had top tier customer service. I didn't get to taste the cornbread and I got backed chicken but they included bbq sauce on the side and gave me a drink. I will definitely return to taste everything; worth the over an hour drive.

Oxtails were fall off the bone and tender and the give u a lot for the price. The Mac and cheese was great. The rice and peas was great. Finally! A place that knows how to make oxtails! I will order again!

There are restaurants in Orlando. I have eaten at with distinction for five years once I try sunshine soul food,  those other restaurants are wondering how come I don't come back to them sunshine soul food has won my heart for life.. their bake chicken has taken me back to my mothers after church Sunday meal

Just had your oxtail dinner with Mac & Cheese & Cabbage which was off the chain, however the cabbage was a little undercooked. My beef here is the price of your cornbread, I can purchase a box of Jiffy for less than $2.25, however it was very tasty, I will continue to try your other entrees. My four star is because of the price you charge for a small piece of cornbread.

Great presentation, texture on fried chicken was crispy not to hard, tenderness in every bite. Full amount of food in every plate , hot and evenly cooked , well seasoned not salty or bitter in taste no dryness whatsoever I will definitely be trying them again
