Didn't love the smoked salmon garlic roll, could just be personal preference but I don't think it works very well.

The only acceptable sashimi from here is the salmon, everything else is questionable in terms of quality and freshness. The tuna and hamachi are extremely fishy, and the chopped scallop didn't taste right. The ikura was okay but very pricey. It didn't help that my delivery person threw/dropped my order on the floor so everything was squished. Won't order from here again.

Took a really long time to prepare food. I usually order from the other sushi california in downtown and they're very quick, this location is a lot closer.

I requested to have a side of spicy mayo in the special instructions section under the miso soup item because there isn't an option to add it in the doordash app. Sushi California charged me extra for the miso soup, likely for the spicy mayo, but they didnt even provide a side of spicy mayo 🤷♀️..... there's no way of me reporting it for the refund for the extra charge because it requires a photo of the miso soup which I obviously consumed already....
