Hands down our favorite sushi in the area for over a decade now. More traditional, less over the top exotic rolls for the sake of it. always really fresh and choice fish. And their Japanese Fried Rice is our favorite over any fried rice from any restaurant. Their Salmon avocado Roll are a simple but always top choice. And their jalapeño yellowtail roll is excellent. All the standard stuff is great too.

The Mix Tempura (9 Pcs) was great! All of the vegetables were flavorful and the shrimp were perfect. The Zaru Soba was good, wished it had grated radish to put in to the dip. The Smoked Salmon was good, not heavily smoked and the Hamachi Toro was perfect too. Had people admiring as they were passing by.

Delicious - as always. The fish is consistently fresh and the presentation is well put together. I've never had a dissapointing meal from Sushi Kuu.

I have given this place a fair shot as a locally owned restaurant 2 times by doordash and 2 time in person. It never fails to disappoint. I cannot understand the good ratings. The fish is not super fresh, the sushi rice is a mess both in flavor and structure, the flavors overall are not that good, and why do they get away advertising fake crab (made from fish) as real crab. I have tried but that is it for me. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
