The best cakes ever made with pure love we have been getting cake all most everyday my favorite is the coconut pineapple but we love love them all Susie is the best and you get lar slice .

The size and flavor of the celebration cake is buttery, sweet, and impeccable. The red velvet cake unfortunately was really dry which is unusual because it has always been VERY moist coming from a patron of over 13 years to their California locations. It must have been an off day at the bakery.
The strawberry cupcake is creamy, tangy, with a hint of strawberry. I purchased two of the strawberry, one coconut, and one raspberry limited time offer cupcake in the 4 Box Cupcake Assortment. The presentation of them didn't have the signature Susie cakes look of carefully decorated nearly smoothed frosting.
While the vanilla layer cake was delicious, overall a majority of the cakes/cupcakes were dry instead of the moist cakes I have come to know and love.
I still recommend ordering from Susie cakes but it'd behoove you to go in person for fresh items. I think the door dash orders get day old or older items.

The lemon cake was good but to small for the price. I was also expecting lemon cake not vanilla cake with lemon filling and and icing. 
The tropical coconut cake is very good but, too small for the price. 
The vanilla celebration cake tastes good and a good size for the price, but it definitely was not fresh.

Slice was small
Strawberries was not very fresh the few little ones that was in the cake. This place is too expensive to have such small slices. There is a big difference I noticed from when I went to the store how my cake was sliced. Slice was skinny and short, whoever sliced the cake it was obvious they do not know how to properly slice a round cake.

My daughter ordered my favorite (Carrot Cake) and a slice of birthday cake for my birthday. I couldn't believe how GOOD they were. I told my daughter I was done with the Cheesecake Factory and from now on this is my Cake place.
