Delicious love on a Combination Plate !
The oxtails, chicken and rice and peas were PERFECTLY seasoned and the plantains added that great light sweetness against the savory. for the price you get a fair amount
..I followed up with a call to say just how good it was and the person who took the call was super friendly...winner!

Unfortunately it's hit or miss with Sweet Fingers sometimes. Today, fortunately for me, was a hit. The oxtails were great today. Rich gravy, flavorful, tender and meaty although many big bones. Although I didn't get it today the Seamoss is always good.

The curry tofu was massive! And delicious. Super fresh vegetables and flavorful sauce with delicious red beans and rice and a crispy fried plantain. There's enough food for several meals or to share which makes the price reasonable. My partner had oxtail stew a la carte that came with a small side of red beans and rice and it was also delicious!

Hello all. Just enjoyed the combination plate from sweet fingers. Let's start with the positive. It was a decent potion of food, and very well packaged. The taste and flavor was just ok. I had oxtail and curry goat. This also includes rice and peas and plantain. While the portion was decent, it was mostly just rice. Only 2 pieces of plantain. The oxtail and curry goat both seemed to be lacking seasoning. The flavor was just lacking. It was ok, but did leave me disappointed. I was born and raised in the Caribbean so I do have an idea of what good island food taste like. I might be willing to give it one more try. I'm always looking for good Caribbean food.

Been looking for good Caribbean food for 2 years since moving away from Queens, NewYork to SF. This food tastes like home. Great portions, seasoned perfectly, the oxtail and jerk chicken were cooked to perfection, very tender. Sweet Fingers in Oakland is some of the best food I've had on the westcoast so far.
