The food from this taco Casa on Denton Highway is very good. I have a taco Casa here in Hurst literally three blocks down the road, but the food from the one in city is fresher... How this can be I don't know but it is so.
Unfortunately I have run into a bit of of a problem. In the past taco Casa has put my extra cheese on the side in a separate container. Recently I haven't been getting my extra cheese on the side, I like the extra cheese on the side so I can distribute it as I see fit.
Except for the extra cheese situation I have no complaints, the food is very good.

Taco Casa Texas uses like maybe 10 ingredients, I can only think of nine, they're out of onion today at the Denton Highway location. The food is OK. I suspect they've made a change to their ground beef, I believe they've added some sort of a binder, flower or cornstarch or something to absorb the grease. In the past if the meat was greasy the grease would drip out of the taco shell. That's not happening now and the meat had a greasy taste today. It's not just the Denton Highway location, I've tried several taco casas in the past few weeks, and they all have the same taste like something has been added to the ground beef. My suggestion is, change it back! Taco Casa had a good freshly made taste that is now going the way of Taco Bell. Taco Bell's meat tastes like dog food smells, and I don't eat at Taco Bell anymore.

This store does a nice job of draining taco meat compared to others. The bean burritos were a little less filled than most taco casas.

The order was wrong the Super Tostada had no cheese no onions the Super Tostada had beans. When I called to sort it out taco Casa answered the phone and hung up I tried three times all three times the same thing happened. Now this is the best taco Casa in the metroplex, I ordered the Super Tostada with no beans no sour cream add onion, this Super Tostada should've had olives, no olives. Now it's been a while since they've gotten an order wrong but it seems to happen. Whoever is in charge is responsible, because they've had such a good track record I will order from there again and give them another chance.
