• 5 days agoThe taste was good and the portion sizes were alright too. The Tandoori chicken, along with the Garlic and cheese naan that I ordered were delicious. The sweet Lassi I ordered was pretty good too, though it wsn't that sweet like the way I excpected, otherwise it was fantastic and reminded me of the Lassi I used to ave back in Pakistan. Everything was freshly cooked as well. The overall taste was good.

• 4/2/26I have never left a photo review before but WOAH, after tasting each dish I absolutely had to. The Onion Bhaji (mostly devoured before the photo) were so delicious - a bit of sweet potato in there maybe?? Crispy on the outside, so fragrant! The Garlic & Cheese Naan was so cheesy it had cheese pull when you lifted a piece up. The curries were phenomenal, and piping hot. Best Indian we've had in Cairns!

• 16/6/26Chicken pieces are huge, the Butter Chicken also has a weird taste. The nann bread also wasn't nice. Very disappointed. Won't order again

• 4/10/26I was really looking forward to trying the Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani, but unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. Instead of properly cooked, flavorful biryani, I received a box of overly cooked, mushy rice. The salt was also very uneven, some bites were unbearably salty while others were relatively fine.
The raita was another letdown. It was extremely sweet and had more of a lassi-like taste and consistency, rather than the savory, refreshing raita that normally accompanies biryani.
I was genuinely excited to try this restaurant, which made the experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to what I expected from a Hyderabadi biryani at all.

• 16/8/26We ordered delivery from Tandoori Nights last night, and for a meal that cost nearly $100, the quality left much to be desired.
The Curries: We ordered a Beef Madras and a Beef Vindaloo. Right out of the container, both curries looked visually identical. Worse, they tasted virtually identical too—extremely bland, with zero depth of flavor and absolutely no heat. A Vindaloo is supposed to pack a punch with distinct tomato and vinegar notes, but this tasted like a flat, unseasoned beef stew.
The Naan: We ordered the Garlic & Cheese Naan, but it arrived with no cheese on it whatsoever.
For a restaurant with good reviews I feel as if this must of been a bad night however given the price, I'm not going to take the gamble again, give this place a miss.
