I got to this spot 4 minutes after placing my order and my drink was waiting for me! Timely, kind staff, always the best experience. My favorite Thai Tea in the east end!!

You've got to be proactive here - do not assume the staff will ask you if you're picking up (the to-go orders are kept in a cooler) or that they'll accomodate something consistently (I was able to pay an up charge to split a smoothie for my kids once- denied a second time). The beverage selection is large, but routine tea shop items like a Thai Tea are inconsistent - sometimes spot on, other times very concentrate tasting...the only thing that keeps me coming back is location. Otherwise it's a novelty with mediocre offerings and customer service...nothing to write home about, especially in Houston.
