If Icould give ZERO stars, I would. I order a lot of food through food delivery apps and this was, by far, the worst food I've ever received. Worse than the raw chicken I received once so that's saying something.
I rarely leave bad review because everyone can have a bad day. And, I also understand that I having food delivered comes with a risk of what I experienced tonight. And, maybe I have a bit of sticker shock for paying $75 for a sub-par meal. For the record, I've had A LOT of good food delivered to me so this was a bit of disappointment.
Here goes:
My friend ordered the Cheeseburger with mashed potatoes. The burger was significally overcooked. It was ordered Medium and arrived as well done+. I am willing to recognize that it probably cooked a little more during the time it took for the DoorDash driver to pick it up and deliver it to me 1.4 miles from the restaurant. If that's the case, then cook it LESS than what it was ordered so that, when it arrives, it has a snowball's chance in hell to be close to how it was ordered. The mashed potatoes were dry. My friend said he'd never order from Ted's again.
My 7 Oz Salmon was sorely overcooked... I ordered medium rare - it was WELL DONE, at best, by the time it got to me. And was the puniest piece of fish ever. There was also remnants of mashed potatoes in my container which indicates someone wasn't paying attention when plating my order.
The cup of Karen's "Flying-D" Bison Chili tasted awesome and they heeded my request for 'no onions.' Portion seemed extremely small - less than what it would have been had I been at the restaurant. The $9 price tag made it sting even more.
I should let you know that I was standing outside waiting on the driver before he arrived so it's not like the order sat around after being delivered.
I don't know why we had the option of choosing the temperature on our food when it was going to arrive NOWHERE near what was requested.
Trying to end on a positive note, the onion rings were the best part of the meal. I actually didn't expect them to be that good since fried food doesn't exactly travel well. They put them in a separate container - smart! They are some of the best I've ever had!
This was my friend's first meal from Ted's and I raved about how good the food is. Now, neither of us want to eat there again, which is so sad because I really love the Karen's "Flying-D" Bison Chili and the burgers. So disappointed - maybe this is on me for expecting a delivery order to be almost as good as sitting in the restaurant.
Lesson learned.

The food tasted okay but the parmesan kind of tainted the steak so instead of umami it was more like a brine flavor. The grilled cheese was okay but nothing great. Just a little disappointed because it didn't seem fresh. Portions were fair. Sad to say I won't be ordering again. The server was very kind though so points for good pickup service.

Ted's Bacon Cheeseburger- very tasty, though I'm not sure why they placed a copious amount of shredded lettuce in addition to the large leafy lettuce. The bun and meat were great.
The side I chose was a baked potato. I asked for butter and sour cream only. Neither was included. This simple selection was missed.

Would love to get Rare Salmon when it's ordered Rare. Not well done.
Rest of meal is good. Veggies are a little ála dente for my taste. Barely grilled.
