If you know Popeyes its very similar but not greasy and batter not as heavy. The flavor i think is better. Im from New Orleans and was a die hard Popeyes. I have switch to Tex's Chicken its so good

The Fiery Chicken Sand was delicious. Spicy chicken was balanced with coleslaw. Well seasoned, juicy with pickles and crispy lettuce. French fries were crispy. I spend $16 and didn't get ketchup or any sauce and that was bad.

Bit of a wait but they really do give you the fresh and hot chicken right out of the fryer.
The service was polite, but the Hot Chicken!* needs more spice but the portion for the price is not worth it on Door Dash, and you're better off buying at the counter if you don't have a promo.

I ordereda 16 pieceof chic16 Pc Chicken w/ 8 Biscuits and it was mostly legs, 5 thighs and 1wing. There wasn't any breast at all, for $43.99 that's just terrible.
