The S-8 is genuinely one of my favorite dishes I've had since moving to LA. The peanut sauce, the skewers, the rice, and the cucumber salad---each of them were really delicious! And that's even coming from someone who doesn't normally like cucumbers. Definitely recommend.

Cucumber salad came in a teeny tiny container, the size for condiments. $3.50 for a condiment size of cucumber salad is outrageous! The amount of sliced jalapeños in it took over much of the small container space. I would NEVER order this again.

The S-1 Gai Yang chicken was way too sweet and not cooked properly. Some parts were still practically raw. Very disappointing quality.

I grew up getting this specific dish and going to this restaurant, but over the past year or two, the chicken and meat quality has taken a dive and unfortunately is really noticeable. This is not a knock to the marinade or flavors, which is still good. It's the texture and consistency of the chicken/ meat itself has felt off. I respect the workers of the establishment and the nostalgia the restaurant holds for me, but sadly, will not be ordering this dish again.

We forgot how good their chicken dinner is. W.e hadn't ordered it in a long time but so glad we did today. It is so juicy add their fried rice with shrimp is wonderful
