Huge menu, something for everyone, including keto and low cal stuff- best of all, they allow 435 characters to explain how you want something.  It's all made fresh so you can get things how you like them     Value for money was huge... big portions, nice prices.   Fried chicken tastes like Verruchi's (didn't try light chicken) .  The Italian Beef is a roast cooked until it's tender chunks, and the au jus is the real stuff- excellent!  Great Gyro's Plate  (pay to add the feta - they are generous!)   Great Italian Spaghetti.  Had the broiled Walleye (came w green beans).  Huge portion of fish (3 long fillets) , wasn't super exciting but it was healthy, a great value, and would feed 2 people if you add potatos.  The baked potato was fluffy...wasn't pre-salted at  all, so you can control the sodium.  Have your own sour cream bc the sour  cream pouch got cooked by the heat of the  potato.  Didn't try the 1/2 Lb. Bacon Cheeseburger but it was large and had fresh veggies.  Looked nice.  You really can't go wrong.  I know my Dad always highly recommended the Italian chicken tenders.

The food is so delicious. This is my favorite go to  spot.  Huge compliments to the chef and staff absolutely amazing restaurant! The taco salad to go is so creative and absolutely mouthwatering delicious. Thank you for a good meal that is worth my money in today's time.

The Cobb Salad was large,  more than enough for a meal.  There was plenty of grilled chicken breast (a little dry) and lots of crisp thick cut bacon. The tomato slices were more than enough in numbers with a good taste and texture. There were a few avocado bites and they were not as ripe as I like.  I would definitely reorder. 

The 1/2 Fried Chicken was fresh and moist, the crust was not overcooked, and was salted just right. I would order again.

Second time ordering  from Big Apple with DoorDash- both times food has arrived fresh and hot. Also very big portions (enough for two meals with each entrée) . The burgers have wonderful flavor. Their homemade soup is absolutely delicious. Definitely will order again.

Biscuits & Gravy Full Order is very nice but ask for eggs on the side, not scrambled on top of the gravy!). Corned Beef Hash is great but the potato hash browns are inferior, (greasy, bland, and smooshy) and we always throw them away.  The pumpkin pie is very nice filling in mediocre crust.  The marble rye bread they use is big, thick sliced and flavorful.  The beef melt doesnt work though because the beef (same beef for most other beef sandwiches) is too soggy, and ruins the crispyness of the bread.  That beef (slow cooker beef) is nice on the whaler sandwich.   The Hoagie Steak Sandwich was lousy.  The "steak" was a thin, formed spam-like product that was unappetizing, did not taste good, and did not work on any level ,.  Would not recommend that to anyone.  I was hoping it would be similar to the famous Merichkas Poorboy but they are not at all alike. Recently had their Taco Salad and that was wonderful, meaty, generous amounts of shredded cheese, and sides of sour cream and salsa (cold stuff properly chilled!).  The shell looked nice, but we didn't eat it.
