Not good. The portion is very insulting except the very dry mac and cheese. The quality wasn't there and not cooked properly. The baked chicken needed to be baked with brown, crispy skin. The skin was pale, with no seasoning and skin rubbery. The cabbage tasted bland, no flavor or seasoning. The yams were dry, not saucy like other photos. The dry meatloaf was overcooked with ketchup spread. Unfortunately, they missed the mark.

the Soulfood Wrap would be both the thing id request on the happiest and worst days of my life. its like going home for thanksgiving and like hug from a friend in one and makes my soul happy. the desserts are also phenomenal, the Banana Pudding is my favorite but the Peach Cobbler is a very close second. i've never been very far south. ut i totally GET southern comfort and charm just from my experience at The Candied Yam.

The Pork Chop Cat Fish and Chicken had been sitting too long or was over cooked and very dry. The sides were good. Especially the Collard Greens. I did not receive the 5 Flavor Pound Cake pound cake so a substitute was made which I don't care for at all. Red Velvet Cake. Sweet Potato Corn Bread was a "No" for me but all the sides were really good. The Pork Rinds were unbelievably good.

I was traveling to the area so stopped by. Pretty disappointed. The meatloaf did not taste edible. I cannot believe they would serve that to people. The Dressing had absolutely no flavor. Cabbage was flavorless, greens were alright, catfish was alright, yams tasted like canned but with cinnamon, it was alright as well. Black eyed peas were even flavorless. We spent a lot of money here so I expected the food to be better.
