I LOVE the Hatching Post. It is my go to when I want to order in and want to treat myself. Usually get a lot of food for the price and it is so worth it. I only gave 4 stars today because I decided to treat myself for Valentines and I was very disappointed in the portion size. I ordered the brisket meal and the piece of brisket was about half the portion of what I have previously gotten (and about half of it was fat) and it was the same with the pickled veg. This won't stop me from ordering again just going to hope it was an off night.

everything was delicious as per usual but from the first time I ordered on doordash now the meat portion has been cut in half which was disappointing. usually it was two meals for me and I finished it in one sitting and I was small female

Quality and taste were good, but the quantity was disappointing on first impressions based on the price point.

Meat dishes, beans focus on very spicy, but low on taste. Cornbread dry and not tasty, mac 'n cheese could have done with more sauce. Brioche buns from superstore. Good portions of everything.
