The Chicken Broccoli Rigatoni was delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the ratio of chicken, broccoli and rigatoni was superb. My wife had the Stuffed Acorn Squash, which she added grilled salmon to. She said the entire meal was delectable! The salmon was grilled to perfection and the best she's ever had. The flavors of the Stuffed Acorn Squash complimented each other so well. Highly recommend The Local!

10" Cup & Char Pepperoni Pizza was great - my dad seemed to enjoy it - good amount of cheese and sauce, lots of pepperoni and perfectly cooked.
However the 10" Cheesy Bread was way overdone and not the kind of "cheesy" one would expect. I added a little more cheese and warmed it at home but definitely was not as good as the crust and cheese on the fig pizza.
The flavors on the 10" Fig Jam & Prosciutto Pizza are great however I can't believe how stingy they are with the arugula. And honestly for take out they should put the arugula in a small separate container to keep it from getting soggy.
The Small Fries were NOT even fully cooked!! I get being soggy because of time in the container but the first one I tasted was like chewy almost - yuck! Even though they looked cooked based on color they were not. Maybe it is an issue with oil temperature?
My daughter liked the Chicken Tendies but I was a bit annoyed that I could not order her a children's meal on the app and had to do a full appetizer portion.
My husband liked his Sesame Chicken Bowl .
The original Local in Newton was always superb quality but I have had more mixed experiences at this Wayland location.
Also when I got there the pizzas were sitting out on counter instead of in warming container that was right next to it. (?)
The host was very kind and said pizza was out because they didn't want to forget about it. I also mentioned children's meal issue and she was open to feedback.

The sauce on the chicken, broccoli & rigatoni dish was delicious! Clearly they used nice quality parmigiano! However the chicken did not taste super fresh. Maybe I would opt for grilled chicken next time(?)....
Fried pickles are solid as always - some of the best around!

Flavors and ingredients are good and seem fresh.
Unfortunate experience.
