The Jalfrezi Bowl with fish is one of my favorites. The description doesn't do the dish justice.
It is not "sour" gravy. It is a complex sauce that is hard to describe like the flavor of tamarind or a glass of wine. The waitress at The Mango Tree in the Spokane Valley described the Jalfrezi sauce to me, inspired me to try it and the rest is happy, delicious history.
Be bold and try it. You won't regret it.
The vegetable samosas and Naan with butter were so good.
Absolutely love the food at The Mango Tree.

The JALFREZI BOWL never fails to be tasty and is great with chicken. My toddler loves her KIDS COCONUT CHICKEN but also always has to have a little bit of the level 5 spicy BUTTER CHICKEN and JALFREZI BOWL, and loves the VEGETABLE NAAN and poppadom for dipping. She asks for Mango Tree at least once a week and it's always a hit. The food always arrives hot and neatly packaged, I'm so happy to have such a quality Indian restaurant in the neighborhood, it gives me nostalgia for my late auntie's cooking. The portion sizes are generous and we always wind up with enough leftovers for an entire second meal.

The spinach dip is amazing! But the serving size that they send you, which is a small bowl, is not worth eighteen dollars. Now inside the restaurant, the serving size is much larger and worth every penny.

Good but getting too expensive. $25 is steep for the portions. Mango Tree is excellent, fresh and impressionable, but still..I may have to cut back on eating out. I will order again when the price drops or it's been a long time from now.

the chicken chunks were very dry and hard to eat. the CURRY BOWL was very lacking in "curry". bland and not much flavor. it's sad that it's an additional $4 to add a small handful of frozen veggies as well...very soggy. I recommend the garlic naan, the original is not great.
