Good portions, excellent classic food. Chicken strips, spicy wings, onion rings the best in the bay area, mozzarella sticks and fries...a great snack for watching movies or sports games! They're generous with sauces too. Always comes piping hot! I do loves me some Mels diner!

This is my go to chef salad. I love it here at Mel's. I love the ham and the turkey and everything else that goes into the chef salad and the thousand islands dressing is on point other places give you too much. This is just right for an entrée meal.

Milk Shake or Malt were good. Nice portion & right thickness. TheGourmet Melfries tasted tough & old... they definitely just threw some shredded cheese on top & microwaved them. Very little actual cheese flavor & little sour cream. Disappointing. Would not order again especially for the price. But hey, shakes at least saved it.

There should be a neutral sign...the classic cheeseburger was ok but soggy...the bun is not good, the fries were good, the onion rings were not worth $11, not sure if it was slow delivery but that plastic bag caused condensation, items in bag were wet, tonight was not as good as the past

Always consistent. Fresh and delicious and great value for price, you get a good portion. Crispy chicken salad is my favorite with thousand island dressing. For whatever reason their thousand island dressing is the best dressing I've had in a long time and I'm usually not a big fan of thousand island dressing. Mel's burger is good, same quality as competing burger joints but you get fries with it and fries are good too. I love Mel's because it's always open and always puts out good food that take me back to better days:)
