Honestly didn’t expect a miso soup to blow me away, but this one changed my mind. It’s somehow both comforting and elevated—deep umami flavor, silky tofu, and just the right touch of scallion brightness. The broth had a slight smoky note that hinted at dashi made from scratch (if not, they’ve got me fooled). It’s a small bowl but perfectly portioned to warm you up before digging into heavier dishes. Definitely don’t skip it, even if you’re just stopping by for drinks and snacks.

This is my first time visiting Tigers Den on South Congress. My experience was amazing. I ordered the Smoked Pork Stuffed Bao Buns, the Sesame Chicken, and the Thai Tea.
The portions are nicely sized. All the food came out quickly and was super fresh and piping hot! The food was super tasty, definitely one of the best Asian fusion meals I've had in years!
The staff were super friendly, and Chef Al is the best!!! Totally recommend it for anyone who's at SoCo to check them out!
