Oooh this place is good! The Fried Chicken Biscuit was amazing! Fluffy, buttery biscuit, perfect sized piece of fried chicken & well seasoned. I wasn't a fan of the excess amount of breading, but it was crispy and flavorful, so I'm not too mad about it. I would definitely add this to my list of re-orders.

This is my new favorite place in Oakland. The biscuits and gravy are outstanding. The bacon egg and cheese is my fav breakfast. The biscuit with blueberry and goat cheese is life changing. They are brand new and already amazing.

Instant favorite! I've had everything on the menu and there's no misses. Great size biscuits, made to order, and the tea (as a fellow Carolinian) it's authentic! 11/10

I have been craving grits for the past two days real bad. I looked on DoorDash yesterday and at most places it's just a sad side of playing grits and I was getting ready to settle for that because my craving was that strong. This time when I did a search a place I've never seen popped up "Town Biscuits". I love a good biscuit so I decided to go with them because of the grits weren't good at least I'd have biscuits. I ordered one plain biscuit, a pimento cheese biscuit, a sweet tea, and my grits. It came pretty quick through DoorDash and here I am eating at my desk very happy with this order. The biscuits are hella good ... delicate buttery and flakey they almost remind me of a croissant. The pimento cheese is chefs kiss (I feel like a lot of places don't do this well). The sweet tea is just what I want in a sweet tea and it is huge!!! Now the grits ... these were not the plain side of grits that are just an afterthought at most places. The grind on the grits was different more course than regular everyday grits and I believe they were yellow. The flavor on the grits was delicious they had a flavorful chicken stock kinda flavor to them but were also creamy and velvety. I am a savory grit person so I was juiced to see all the black pepper and cheese in the grits. Anyway ... I'm happy I got my fix and I will be ordering again!
