This review is only for the Fair Oaks location. I've been going to Uncle Julio's for 20+ years at nearly all of the locations in the DMV area. The food is consistently subpar relative to other locations and is easily the worst by far. The soft tacos always come soaked, the portions for sides are smaller than what the other stores offer, and the meat is often overcooked.
I've ordered from this location 5+ times across the last year hoping things would change. Unfortunately, it's only gotten worse each time. Really disappointing especially considering it's my favorite TexMex chain. Don't bother with this location. Hope they make changes in the kitchen.

Paying $21 for a Chicken quesadilla to only come out like a kids meal or at least cut up into to small sizes is a little ridiculous. If in the restaurant they're full sizes I expect the same in delivery otherwise specify better in the description what people are paying for.

I'd rather rank this 4 1/2 stars, and even then, the subtracted half star isn't so much Uncle Julio's fault as that I only want Mexican rarely. I'm from Houston, so I KNOW Tex-Mex! And Julio's is good indeed. Solid, fresh, and from scratch. Love the combination enchiladas, and Iadded two bacon-wrapped shrimp just to try them, and they were DELICIOUS! I'm getting more of those next time!

Grilled fish tacos are very tasty with perfectly cooked fishy and fresh, crunchy veggies and yummy sauce. I just wish there was more than 2.5 bites of fish per taco. Margaritas for two is awesome.
