• 4/8/24I did the Parisian Rain iced, and it is incredible with a pleasingly sophisicated flavor. Highly recommend for tea latte lovers looking for something a little different.
Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwich + 2 Shortbread Cookies is a little heavy but a great deal.

• 24/9/26When did you cut the meat in half? Price went up but the serving size went down by half!
I have ordered this sandwich many times over the last 5 years and it was always my favorite but now I have no interest in ordering again, because the price is so high and the sandwich is not even a sandwich anymore its a croissant with mayo and a few pieces of chicken.

• 13/1/24This was a really great brunch for us. Verzenay's pastry, no matter how it's configured, couldn't be better. The Savory Croissant is delicious, and the Kouign Amann is sublime. And the Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwich? Best chicken salad there is, on the best croissant.
Plus, the coffee is great.

• 20/6/25Verzenay is my go to comfort spot in Chicago. I have been to bakeries all around the world, and Verzenay beats them all. Every single item they sell is incredible. I never have the same order at this store because there is so many amazing items to try. You are missing out if you haven't been here yet!
