I've always ordered the rib plate at the Van Buren location. The meat is always tender. The Chicago location was not great. The short rib was tough, hard to chew and swallow and way over cooked. Too much "char" meat was like beef jerky.

I ordered the chicken and steak WaBa Chicken & Steak Plate. Sadly, they charge you a lot for the food and barely give you any protein. It's mostly rice and they always forget condiments, and plasticware even though it's requested. I called the store and nobody can help you so Waba Grill will no longer be my choice for a meal.

We ordered a salmon rice bowl and Spicy Asian Salad. My goodness we loved it! Salad was fresh, beef had wonderful flavors almst didnt even need the dressing. The Salmon Bowl was simple, but was clean and rice was perfect. We ate the food so fast we forgot to take pictures lol

I had no teriyaki sauce was not provided. I did ask for it and my food was burnt. My dumplings were burnt. It didn't taste good at all. And I'm very surprised, because that store usually, I have very good tastes of food. I don't know who was making it back there, but all they were doing was burning it

Fresh, filling and delicious! The salmon was tasty. The vegetables were cooked just how I like them with a little crunch. The rice was perfect.
