I was disappointed I never got the first meal I fell asleep at my hotel I think someone got lucky and grabbed it. I hadn't had a fish fry in a long time and this type of meal was the type I had been missin for years since moving bac from the south where their seafood is mehh . but this , this is that cajun fried type of dishes type you'd get your moneys worth and then some. the prices are reasonable and fair, not greedy or overselling and underdelopong . if you are new to the area and want a good fish fry try this place.it fresh , crunchy,and flavorful. los angeles has the best resteraunts and places like this gone prove that

Catfish filets were fried to perfection. Shrimp and oysters were yummy. Hush puppies were fantastic. The fries were a bit overcooked, but had a good crisp to soft inside ratio. If only they were hot. The contrast in temperature between the fries and fish let me know the fries were sitting while waiting for the fish to be done because they didn't seem fresh while the fish was piping hot.

Ive been going here for years they should have way more reviews. My fries were still hot when arrived, fish crisp, and A1 potato salad black folk style. This is whiting fish not buffalo

Unfortunately the whiting was overcooked and dry. The shrimp was tasty and so were the collards. The banana pudding was ok but it isnt made from scratch. I wont try the pudding again but I will order from this rest again to give another chance because flavor counts.

20 Pc Jumbo Shrimp Plate with Fries,
The shrimp were not fresh, I had to throw them out.
Very disappointing as I have had better from them.
Won't be ordering from them again.
l wasted over $30!
