YGF Malatang really stands out among other custom hot pot delivery options in LA. The portions for price, flavor, and quality all contribute to this. We ordered the 草本骨汤麻辣烫 1.5LB/Herbal Bone Broth Malatang1.5LB and 草本骨汤麻辣烫 2LB/Herbal Bone Broth Malatang2LB.
My husband and I have attempted to order weight-based, custom delivery hot pot many times from several different places. Our typical experience involves fewer ingredients than we expect, over indexing on cheap ingredients, and minimum protein.
We have been disappointed in other experiences due to this consistent issue. YGF has changed the game for us and we will definitely order from here again!

Wish I had more food!! Take out Container was only 1/3 full but cost like $25. Wish the restaurant will allow you to pick duplicate toppings instead of 1 order per topping since it is pay per item anyways. (i.e. double beef instead of single beef) The Medium spicy Signature Beef Soup Base / 招牌浓醇牛骨汤 broth is great. However, the rice was slightly undercooked... Perhaps this place is better dine-in than DoorDash.. since you can control what you want exactly

Great dry mala hot pot option in downtown. Flavor is consistent. Portions are reasonable - would like to try them in person one day!
