The Jerk chicken with coconut rice and peas hit the spot for me. It reminded me of home in Jamaica. The seasoning was spot on, and the meat was tender. I do wish there was extra jerk sauce that came on the side.

Slightly disappointed.
The portion size is too small for the $$price. Slow Cooked Jamaican Spiced Curry Goat was too boney. And the Jamaican Oxtail was four boney pieces and rice. If you know oxtails you need about six big pieces at least for an entree, bc of the lack of meat on each bone.

My main dish that I order from here is the Rasta pasta. And lemme just say, it is AMAZING!!!! Most pasta dishes from regular restaurants aren't nearly as flavorful or just too expensive for the amount. The Rasta pasta is outstanding. I tried something new tonight being the agave cornbread. Oh. My. God. SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD!!!!! So much richness and flavor and doesn't fall apart too much. I'd rate the Rasta pasta an 8.2-8.5 out of 10 and the cornbread a 9.5/10

I have ordered from this restaurant many times because the food is delicious and I always get the SHRIMP FRIED RICE entree for $26/28 dollars. The reason I like this dish is because they give you a great portion of shrimp at least 8 and its seasoned well, with fried eggs, scalionss, carrotts onions and lots of other veggies and its enough for 2-3 people. Tonight I ordered the same dish and it was like I ordered from a different restaurant or they changed chefs Im not really shore. The dish had 3 shrimp in it, 2 medium size and 1 popcorn sized, and the container was 1/2 filled as if ot were a lunch time special or as if someone had started eating it. I also ordered the Snapper Filet entree for $26 and received another lunch sized portion meal and also no mixed vegetable as advertised just the a small serving of rice ans not an entire fillet of snapper fish as advertised but a 1/2 of fish. I called the store to complain and they asked me if the bag was tampered with I told them I wasnt sure it was tied up with a link sticky note attached. I was told the owner would reach out to solve the matter but nothing yet. I paid $80 for 3 shrimps, lunch sized portions, half of snapper, and no mixed veggies. I finally thought I found a restaurant with consistency.

I feel that for $43 it should've been a bigger plate ofood this isn't worth it. there's a Jamaica spot in fishkill that gives you morefor $30 and up. And there's no meat on the Jamaican Oxtail. But this is my first time oordering from here so maybe I need to dine in.
