"I would like to start by saying that Chinese food is expected to be mediocre, but I have never had Chinese food be so awful that I felt the need to warn others not to order.
For the amount of money you're spending, We were expecting large portions and what we received was honestly just pathetic. The C11. Sweet and Sour Chicken comes with about 10 very small pieces of chicken, and a small container of rice. Absolutely NOTHING like the picture shown. Even considering inflation, $16 is absurd.
If you like Thai food even slightly, do not order the N2. Pad Thai Beef. Our expectations were set at the minimum, but it was literally inedible.
We are not the types to leave bad reviews as we like to see local businesses thrive but this was just unacceptable.
I write this hoping to see some changes and would love to revisit sometime in the future to give them another chance."

In addition, this restaurant charges extra for rices, almost $3 for each. I ordered 2 rices, but it was not delivered. So after almost 1.5 hour wait time, I got an incomplete order. The food was generally tasteful, except for the lamb. I ordered the Lamb Spine in Dry Pot before and it was very tasty. But this time, it was much longer wait, and the lamb dish did not have much flavor and was not tender enough, clearly not enough cooking time. "First time ordering, got the Sampler Platter with the egg roll, chicken potstickers, pulled pork bao and a mongolian beef bao. We also ordered the Classic Orange Chicken Bowl with jasmine rice.
The bowl was dissappointing. The rice cooked well, but was bland. The chicken was flavorful but scarce, for $11 i expected a bit more than dark meat and burnt ends.
The pot stickers were flavorful, but could have used another minute on the sear. Also did not get the soy sauce...
The egg roll was excellent! Especially with the sweet & sour sauce. A little burnt on the ends, but excellent none the less.
The bao, both were nicley done, soft and chewey, and a decent amount of filling. The pulled pork was my favorite. Lots of flavor, but could use a bit more sauce. The mongolian beef was dissappointing in that there was no heat until i finished the bao and even that was nothing. It was basically a mildly spicy sloppy joe.
All that being said, i'll be ordering from bao wow again!"
