It was so hard that there is no way the person cutting the fruit couldn't tell the kiwi was not ripe. The rest of the fruit consisted of 1/2 a strawberry, 2 whole blueberries, and one blackberry. The rest was just melon. Maybe advertise it as a side of melon. We requested crispy Bacon and received chewy, flabby bacon. The George Scramble was flavorless. We requested crispy hashbrowns and we received flavorless herbed potatoes instead. The portions are large because they give you a ton of filler food, like potatoes. There wasn't any cream cheese to be seen anywhere in the dish. And the bacon, which was few and far between, was chewy. For our side we asked for the apricot french toast and received banana french toast that had a chemical taste to it. The only things we ate were the chewy bacon and the fruit. My dog ate the sorry excuse for corned beef hash and we tossed everything else. What a waste of money. I honestly do not get the appeal of this place. I tried them years ago (eating there) and I had ordered the crab bene. You could smell the fishy smell as they approached our table. They were nice enough about sending it back and getting me something else, but the manager sat there and tried to tell me it was fresh until the table next to us said they could smell it too. There just doesn't seem to be any quality control when it comes to the food with this place."

"If you haven't had their biscuits before you have to try them. They are flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. You can peel them apart in layers. The Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit Sandwich is a great way to enjoy their biscuits. It's a lot of food for one sandwich. I like the egg, but I know some are not fond of the texture. They add a good layer of cheese, a piece of sausage, and the onion jam to complete the sandwich. I am not a huge fan of the onion jam, but that's just a personal preference. However, it does balance out the richness of the sandwich. The sausage isn't too greasy, and has a balanced flavor that isn't overbearing. Their Pain au Chocolat is amazing. It wasn't as flakey as usual, but it was still good. It reminds me of the ones you get in Europe. There is a small amount of chocolate within it, but it's enough to balance out the pastry. And the chocolate they use has a creaminess to it. The buttery flaky bread can stand on its own, so you don't need an overload of chocolate. This is good heated or not. The Ham and Cheese Roll has the same flaky texture as the Pain au Chocolat. Both the cheese and ham are flavorful and add a good amount of saltiness to the flavor. Last, the Olive Ciabatta is amazing. It's head and shoulders above the olive breads you can pick up in the grocery stores. The large green olives are abundant, the crust is hard, but has some give, and the inside is soft. You can eat this plain and it's perfect, or top it with cheese, etc. Either way, it's really good. "I love the South of The Border omelette. It is my go to order and it even comes with pancakes. The only thing I think can be improved is the ratio of ingredients on the omellete. It's a great portion, but I feel like there can be more jalapeños and chorizo in relation to the eggs, even if it is a smaller portion. Other than that it's a great value."

"Huge portions. Best biscuits and gravy in town that I am aware of. For a door dash delivery I am truly impressed and even in awe over how crispy my hashbrowns were. The fact that my biscuits were not soggy can only be explained by magic. Next time I want brunch I will definitely dine in. Whoever was in the kitchen that prepared my orders clearly takes pride in their creations!"

"Eggs + Choice of Meat was good and had big portions but the eggs and hash browns lacked seasoning. The corn hashed beef on the other hand tasted a bit over seasoned. Nonetheless the food was still very good, well-cooked and very filling as well. Plenty of condiments were also provided but lacked salt and pepper. Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice (large) was very good and fresh but felt a bit overpriced at $8.99 for a cup that looks medium-sized. "
