"The sampler breakfast was so good. The bacon and sausage links were top quality and well cooked as were the eggs. Every possible condiment was included and the coffee was hot.
My family and I used to eat at IHOP all he time and for decades, we ordered the build your own omelette wth cheese and salsa. Then that salsa went away and we stopped going. If anyone else out there misses that breakfast, Target has a Good and Gather medium chunky salsa that is spot on. I had it on my cheddar scrambled eggs this morning and it was like the good old days at IHOP.

"If pastries are your thing, La Madeleine genuinely delivers. Their Nutella muffins are sooo tasty and some of the most consistently good baked goods I’ve found. The flavor is almost always there--I’ve only ever had one pastry box of them that was off. The croissant dough is really solid too, and so naturally the ham and cheese croissant shows that off well. I’ve also gotten the tarte au citron for my partner, who is a serious lemon lover, and it’s been a hit every time.
But outside of the pastry case, I’ve been disappointed more times than I can excuse at this point. I’ve tried the Croque Monsieur with the broccoli cheddar and country potato soups, and the lemonade, none of which really impressed me. I also ordered a frosted sugar cookie that came with none at all (listing even noted that frosting color varies by location, so clearly it’s supposed to come frosted).
I keep giving it another shot hoping something will surprise me, but at this point I think their strength is very clearly in the baked goods. And if you’re ordering anything beyond pastries like drinks, hot food, or even expecting your order to come out right, just go in knowing it might not meet expectations."

"This was the best sushi I've had in a long time. I actually cannot remember anything better. We had veg fried dumplings and harumaki as starters. Both were absolutely exceptional. I had the Yellowtail Combo. Again, outstanding. The yellowtail was fresh and sushi was excellent. The Kimchi Ramen is like the quality of a gourmet ramen restaurant. "The food tasted pretty good! The linguine con gamberoni had large shrimp and tasted delicious! The mozzarella in carrozza was a lot thicker than I was expecting but still tasted good - these are not your traditional mozzarella sticks! The spaghetti with meatballs tasted yummy as well! Both entrees came with a side salad and warm bread, which I didn't realize so that was a lovely surprise! The lobster bisque had great flavor, was a little oily but to be expected with a creamy soup like this, and had a bit of lobster - would have liked more pieces but it would probably make it more expensive if it did! The tomato sauce tasted like it came straight from a can. The bread was hard and stale. I figured this was a one off experience, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and two more times and it’s the same. The only exception was the Caesar salad. That was still pretty good, but it became a $15 salad when I added chicken. The meals are way over priced for what you get. "
