Casavana Cuban Cuisine
4.6

"The Casavana breakfast was delicious. My Sister and I ate one and we enjoyed it.
The scrambled eggs and pancakes were fluffy. We had more than enough syrup, butter and jam given to us. The ham was yummy.
This was a lot of food for the money, enough that we didn't have enough stomach space to finish the tostadas. (Saving those for later!) I have the Caesar Salad in the fridge for later and the empanada in the microwave for a mid-day snack!
The only feedback is that the cafe con leche was very strong and we needed to put quite a bit of sugar to get it just right. I recommend 5 to 6 sugar packs that they give you to make it as delicious as mom or abuela makes it!
Also, the tostadas were a little on the colder side. Nothing a 10 to 15 seconds in the microwave can't fix, but I wanted to include it to keep this review honest.
Overall, lots of good tasting food at good price.
"
"I have a nice big portion of fish but the fish was overcooked and the crust was quite hard very rubbery I had to spit it out, and the inside was dried up. no I did not enjoy it and I am very disappointed. that means whoever made it was not in a very good mood and was not into it. most of the time this is my very favorite dish. the black beans were too salty."

"The Cuban Sandwich tasted exceptional. The only thing that I did not like is that they add mayonnaise to the sandwich cubano and everything inside the sandwich falls off because it gets slippery.

The portions were great, the food was flavorful without being over-seasoned, and the café con leche was perfect—not overly sweet. Definitely worth five stars!"
"La sopa excelente, sabe a maiz y carne,lo q poca vianda, poco fideos y mucho caldo,la carne bien, pero muy rica. El cafe muy bueno. el batido sino esta bueno, era hielo y leche aguada y el helado de fresa no se sentia apenas,no sabia mal pero demasiado aguado, quizas por que era uno y otro gratis pues si me vende ese vasito chiquito aguado y sin sabor por 5 dolares no lo vale."

"I AM SORRY TO SAY I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN. FIRST, THEY REFUSE GO GIVE YOU BREAD WITH THE MEAL WHEN EVERY SINGLE RESTAURANT GIVES YOU BREAD. SECOND, THIS CUBANITO BOWL WAS TERRIBLE, ONLY ONE TABLESPOON OF BLACK BEANS, THE PICADILLO WAS SO SALTY WE HAD TO THROW IT IN THE TRASH, AND THE MADUROS WERE BOILED LITTLE SQUARE PIECES. NOT MADUROS AT ALL. THE ONLY THING THIS BOLW HAD WAS PLENTY OF WHITE RICE. OVERALL, WE THREW THE WHOLE BOWL IN THE TRASH CAN. A PREGNANT LADY CANNOT EAT ALL THIS SALT AND FOR THE PRICE IT WAS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. THE SALAD WAS OK BUT NOT THAT GREAT. SORRY KUBA KITCHEN YOU WERE GOOD BEFORE, NOW I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON WITH YOU."

"I owe a few reviews. The pizza is amazing, I ordered early in the day and it came hot. Great portion and would order again. "Honestly, Great Pan. con bistec, and great Pollo a la Plancha. The black beans have so much flavor, they are thick, not watery. it's a place I would actually sit and eat with my family"
"Yo, the sandwinches are 🔥 My hisband had the oan con Pan Con Lechon and he devoured it. My mom had the Pan con Pan Con Bistec , and she was full from eating half of it, buthe she said it was the best she's ever had.My brother had the tradtional Cuban Sandwich and wasimpressed that it tasted better than your average cuban place. The Pan Con Tortilla was good, however, I would have preferred that the bread would have been toasted a bit more. Othe than the that, it really lives up to the hype!"

"I gifted my bestie with a lunch from here and she LOVED it! They packaged everything really neat and followed all my instructions with care. Will definitely recommend to others and will visit when I'm in town."
"El peor mofongo que me he comido. Nada que ver con el mofongo Puertorriqueño. Los platanos estaban dulces, la consistencia era muy blanda parecía mangú. Los chicharrones de cerdo horribles, solo grasa, parecía que eran del dia anterior. El caldo no se de que era porque sabía horrible."

"Everything was soooo good and full of flavor. I thought Brazilians made the best rice and SM Black Beans/SM Frijoles Negros but this tastes like home for us too. The chicken Chicken Soup SM/ Sopa Pollo was also on point and the Shredded Grilled Chicken/ Vaca Frita Pollo had a delicious bark but was also juicy. Will order again for sure, and I can't wait to visit the restaurant."

"My first time trying Cuban food. 10/10! Everything was delicious and tasted fresh. The steak was flavorful and not too fatty. The beans were also well seasoned. Perfect portion size. I'll be back to visit in person next time I'm in town."
"The food was delicious. The snapper was seasoned perfectly. My only semi-grip is that the skin was soggy. I'd suggest another packaging method for delivery that allows for ventilation. This was wrapped in foil and the crispy skin is the only reason I get the snapper fried."
