Funnily enough I almost overlooked this place based on its name and branding - "Oh no, another 'healthy' restaurant that substitutes healthiness for deliciousness" I though to myself. Fortunately I was able to overcome my bias (partly due to other reviewers here) and decided to place an order. Wow! I am so glad I did. This is some top notch, expertly prepared Korean food.
The pancakes are delicious, in particular I loved the kimchi pancake. They totally nailed the spicy pork too getting it just right in terms of flavor, spice and cooking. The purple rice is also very tasty, I consider it a superior side to regular white rice. Anyway, a true hidden gem...its yummy food disguised as a healthy place ;) Honestly nothing seemed inherently unhealthy, there are certainly a good amount of vegetable in each dish too and nothing was too oily. Starting with the salad, I purposely ordered the House Salad as it showed as a larger salad. I paid almost 5 dollars for the "side salad" i received!!!! The ribs were over cooked (meat was slightly tender but was at the point of tasting dried out) and the bbq sauce was horrible (tasted like it was 95% ketchup and it was extra thick). The loaded mashed potatoes were the worst tasting mashed potatoes I ever had. They tasted like they used instant potatoes.
The corn on the cob and salad were the only items that tasted fine. I don't usually order from Chili's, but if I do, never again will I order the ribs or mashed potatoes.
Outback Steakhouse has a much better tasting bbq rib selection, in addition to the loaded mashed potatoes. And you actually get a full salad when requested."
