" I frequently go to Guerreros, once or twice a week. Their service is quick, and consistent and the food is always delicious. There's a reason I go here every week - their veggie burrito is solid (i get it without sour cream) and filling. Always warm and delicious. Their chicken tacos are another staple of mine. "I would give them zero stars if I could. I ordered a Steak and Prawn Burrito and received a deconstructed burrito. Prawns? Overcooked and still with the shell on. Steak? The cheapest beef you can find which is unacceptable for the price. Rice? They literally gave me half a cup worth of rice which wouldn't even fill the burrito an eighth. Tortilla? They gave me four taco tortillas instead of a burrito sized one which only added to the disrespect. But, tonight I was leaving the Wash House that was close to this Doordash Mexican food truck. So, the package, flavor & the portion was good. BUT, there were so many inconsistencies throughout eating my super burrito. Some parts of the tortilla shell were hard & rubbery hard to chew!could tell that this was was not steamed in the traditional tortilla steamer when you go to burrito restaurants on Mission St. or Valencia. It appears & taste like they Grill it on the grill! So, there are certain parts of it that's going to be tough & not soft. I believe what makes a burrito really good is having a very soft wrap. Next, my first bite was a very big piece of steak I chewed it to the point where I couldn't chew anymore & had to spit it out! Because it was so tough I could not break it down. "Extremely disappointed to see that my Chile Relleno Burrito with chicken, and no rice, which cost $22, turned out to be the tiniest burrito I've ever gotten at a taqueria. I order burritos without rice from other places all the time. Some are "slightly" smaller, but most are generally the same size. This one, however, was comparable to a Taco Bell burrito, or a baby burrito that some taquerias offer. It was incredibly small. I finished it in less than 3 minutes, then had to look for something else to eat.
I used to be a semi-regular customer before COVID. Once they reopened after the pandemic, I found their serving system to be so awkward, fearful, and unfriendly that I decided not to return until they resumed normal operations. We'd returned once since then, and my family all agreed that portions were on the smaller side. I suppose this is their way of dealing with the rising cost of running a business.
As they are a locally-owned business that is in my neighborhood, I really wanted to give them another chance, and I feel like I just got ripped off. The food quality was excellent, but there wasn't enough of it to justify charging such a high price. "

"Overall its pretty good. I enjoyed all three pupusas I ordered. I got the lorroco and cheese, the lorroco, zucchini and cheese, and the pork beans and cheese. I found the lorroco and cheese to be a bit of a milder flavor whereas the other two were more flavorful and I liked them more. The pupusas are a bit big, next time I would just get two. This would make for a cheap lunch as the cost is approximately $4 each. I did DoorDash and one thing to note is the packaging is not good. The bag wasn't tied, and the foil was slightly coming off the paper plate they put the food in. I would like to see improvement there. They were quite generous with the cortido and salsa which was good because you can't have a pupusa without those added flavors and textures!! I will return, but next time I'll do a pick up. "
"Chicken soup with chicken thigh and fried rice really hit the spot... a lime slice came with my order. That squeeze of lime juice makes soup special. I also ordered rice & beans to place 1/2 of that order into the soup for a heartier dinner meal @ home. Zucchini, potato, carrot, generous pieces rounded out this freshly made hot soup! This was my 2nd time ordering...will definitely order again. Saving chalupas for late night snack & breakfast."
