I haven't been able to find places that serve Kool-aid and fried smothered pork chops so when I found this place, I fell in love. The grilled cabbage is great as well, smoked ribs, oxtails, wings, fish, jambalaya, gumbo. It's all fire. "The steak in the Taco Perron was very dry and overcooked. I don't think I got the Mole Pollo , I think they substituted something without contacting me. The rice wasn't good. Paid $9 for chips and salsa and guacamole and got a huge bag of what seemed to be unsalted chips with a tiny container of salsa (which was horrible) and another of guacamole (which needed lime, jalapeno and salt). There was 1 -2 tablespoons of salsa and guacamole. Total rip off. I also ordered a side of Guacamole and got a little larger container of it, but there was an avocado pit in it so I got less. Food was not great and prices are high for the serving size. Extremely disappointed and feel cheated out of my money."

"I was hesitant about ordering from this restaurant because there weren't many good reviews. I ordered some tacos and they were delicious. I got carnitas, Al pastor and asada. All three amazing. Portions a lil small but with enough meat in them. Can't decide which one was my favorite since they're all so good! "
"The only thing that saved this from being a 1 star was the burrito. The tacos (should be noted as "street tacos") where over-priced for the amount of meat I received. I actually thought that I only received one taco until I opened the tinfoil to see 3 small tacos with almost no meat in them. But the Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo had to be the worst food I've had in a long time. It was literally pre-boiled shrimp tossed into unseasoned garlic butter. That with the fact that I received 8 medium shrimp in a sea of onions was the breaking point. Never going back to this place."
