"This is my goto order---the Kung Pao Cashew Kung Pao Cashew Chicken The last few times I got it, it wasn't as good as usual. It was overly salty, not enough chicken, the rice was soggy, etc. But this time it was back to the old excellence! Lots of big flavorful chunks of chicken, loads of cashews amd veggies, I could eat the individual grains of rice (no sog). Love it"

"Idk which side the responsibility of making sure that pickups are not ridiculously long and disorganized comes down to. However, that is just what this order was at The Butcher's Daughter.
If you will offer an attractive promo like a $3 Surfer's Breakfast Burrito*, you may want to make sure that things will be organized from both Doordash and The Butcher's Daughter restaurant side.
The burrito itself was tasty and eggcelent, even after eating it a couple hours after pickup due to the long wait but also personal schedule conflicts."
"Crabcake Benedict is great taste aside from it being tiny and the arugula with seemingly no dressing. A simple olive oil and lemon would be great - feels like low effort and a waste of produce especially for the price. "

"Good flavor but out of the other taqueria/restaurant options out there, this place definitely has the smallest burrito. This would be fine if the price was more fair to match, but this Cucamonga Burrito is $18, a price higher than other places for a similar burrito. Still, like I said, the flavor is good and I like their tacos. I'd only order again if they offer their BOGO deal, which comes and goes."

"The cake slices are delicious, not cloyingly sweet, and perfectly portioned.
Chocolate Raspberry Mousse cake is divine!
Black Forest cake was also delicious, though the preparation is unlike traditional Black Forest. Tender crumb, gorgeous buttercream icing with a cherry layer (preserves?) between the layers.
Strudel - Apple was transcendent. Tender pastry, apples maintained a slight crunch, generous portion. Cannot recommend it highly enough."

"The Matcha Latte and Lawless Croissant French Toast are always my go tos. The House Potatoes came with a large serving. I wish they were more crispy, but they had good flavor. The Two Eggs Your Way were okay just a bit cold, but not really the restaurant's fault. The Avocado (Side) was needed, very expensive for what looked like half of an avocado. Regardless, 5/5 very delicious!"

"Been ordering from this place for years — great late night availability and solid donuts. Might seem like it's pricey for the quality, but the service, late hours, and location make up for that. I'm also not normally a fan of cake donuts, but the Vegan Cake Donut is solid. I have a mild dairy allergy and the Sugar Raised Donut doesn't trigger it either."
"This place is obnoxiously DELICIOUS!!!

"Delicious sweet potato fries, loved the chips & salsa too. Hearty chicken Friedicken Sandwichich with the perfect breading! "
"Honestly, I really wanted to support this place because I think they have a really good thing going on. I like what they’re trying to do with organic food, and I understand that running a business is hard. That’s actually why I wanted to leave an honest review instead of just writing the place off.
The last time I ordered a meal, it came with two pancakes. There’s an option to substitute the regular pancakes for gluten-free pancakes for an extra charge, which I paid. When my order arrived, I got ONE gluten-free pancake instead of the two pancakes that came with the meal. Nothing anywhere said that if you choose gluten-free, you’re going to pay more and get less food. I honestly thought it was just a mistake.
Then there was the horchata coffee. The order gives you milk options, so I selected oat milk and was charged extra for it. Nobody told me that the horchata already comes made with whole milk. So I paid extra for a milk substitution that apparently wasn’t even possible. Again, I thought maybe it was just a misunderstanding.
So I decided to give them another chance and ordered again. This time, they actually called me and explained that the horchata already had whole milk in it and refunded me for the almond milk I selected. I will give them credit for that. They were nice enough to call, explain it, and refund the charge.
But then the rest of the order was a mess.
I ordered one pancake for myself and one for my coworker. They sent both pancakes stacked on top of each other in ONE box. No utensils. One syrup. The horchata latte came with NO STRAW.
And then one of the pancakes was burnt and tasted like straight skillet. It looked nothing like the pancake I received the last time. The other pancake had corn on it, which was a problem because my coworker has a slight corn allergy.
At this point, I’m honestly just sitting here looking crazy because I’m the one who recommended this place to my coworker.
I’m not writing this review because I think they’re a bad business or because I don’t appreciate what they’re trying to do. I actually think they have a really good concept, and I understand that things happen. But when you have multiple small issues happening across multiple orders, eventually it becomes frustrating for the customer.
The positive way I’m choosing to look at this is that these are things the business can actually look into and improve. Better communication about substitutions and ingredients, making sure portions match what’s advertised, checking orders before they go out, making sure utensils and condiments are included, and just paying a little more attention to consistency could make a huge difference.
I’ve tried to support this place because I genuinely like what they’re doing. Some of this review is definitely negative, but I’m hoping they take it as constructive criticism rather than an attack. I’d rather see them fix these things and succeed than see them lose customers over issues that are honestly pretty easy to address.
I wish them the best and hope they take some of this feedback into consideration, because I do think they have something good going here."

The milkshake is rather small for the price. Baskin and Robins has better."
