I recently ordered a large family carry-out, and everything was packed in generous, family-style containers. The chicken, lamb, and ground beef were all perfectly tender—each bite practically melted in my mouth. "There are so many Indian restaurants in DC and I have not found my go to place until now. This place just opened up recently and thank goodness because everything I've had from here so far is amazing. I am extremely picky about my Indian flavors and oh my God the dishes I've had from here just exudes multidimensional flavors that I expect from Indian or Nepalese cuisine. The lamb Rogan Josh was creamier than I'm used to, but had amazing flavor. The lamb madras was good, but just mild in flavor. The Lamb Curry is great. Exactly what you expect from a lamb curry with amazing flavors. I will eventually order most of the dishes here and hopefully they will be just as good. "

"Family Special was delicious, especially the beet dish. Definitely a hearty two meals' worth of food. The Sambusa was tasty as well. The pastry was doughier rather than crispy which was different than most others in the area."
"SO flavorful!! Just the right amount of kick from the spices. I got the Regular Vegetarian Special with kik alitcha, gomen, fosolia, and tekil gomen. Only two minor complaints: 1) there wasn't really any potato in the tekil gomen or fosolia which both mention potatoes on the menu, and 2) the injera was cold. Not the kind of cold it'd get from a car ride. Those issues are minor compared to how delicious the food is. I'd definitely eat here again. "

The egg rolls were pretty good - I'm not sure if I misread the description but there is meat inside and I wasn't expecting that. The Thai tea is delicious - I could be biased because it's one of my favorite beverages. The portion is the perfect amount for two people. Everything was packaged really well. My driver made two stops and our food was still warm! Considering everything, I will order again."
