About Bayan Ko
Bayan Ko is the first restaurant created by husband & wife team Chef Lawrence Letrero, and Raquel Quadreny. Featuring a Filipino & Cuban 6 course tasting menu, located in the heart of Ravenswood, Chicago.
Originally established in 2018 as a BYOB a-la-carte family style restaurant where classic & original dishes from both cuisines made up their menu. Spring 2024, they opened their second restaurant Bayan Ko Diner, located two doors down.
Once the diner opened, Bayan Ko was converted into a now Michelin-recommended fine dining establishment offering tasting dinners with wine pairings and a curated beverage program
Bayan Ko means “My Country” in Tagalog, A love song later turned patriotic anthem.
