I love Taquería el gordo. They are open late night and have the best tacos in Oakland. Their rojo sauce is finger licking good and their 3 Rounded Grilled Onions (3 cebollitas) are grilled to perfection, making them salty, creamy, and warm. I love howuxh meat they put on each taco. You can't go wrong.

The queso was just queso cheese. I was hoping that it was queso dip cheese. The churro cheesecake was a little dry, but it tasted more like a cinnamon roll with a little bit of cheesecake. The burrito Pollo desperado (no cilantro and no sour cream) was good and had a lot of chicken. I added the salsa Roja to the burrito and it helped make it spicier. The salsa Roja was pretty good.

First off, put some respect on the freshness of the sides and the meat, specifically the pork and carne asada. The portions are perfect and the taste always exceeds my expectations. Would I order again, I'm already waiting on my DoorDash for the 30th time this year.

The food was delicious! My favorite taco was the carnitas. It was so flavorful! The tacos were full of meat and I will definitely be back for more! I also highly recommend the Horchata Grande! It tasted very fresh.

best BURRITO VEGGIE in the area!!! Perfect amount of each ingredient. The Horchata Mediana was the right size to accommodate my meal, tasting delicious with each sip! Can never go wrong with 3 Rounded Grilled Onions (3 cebollitas) on the side of your meal as well!
