The shish kebab was tender and tasty but tasted plain as though had not been marinated as described. Also, did not seem chargrilled and no evidence of having been on skewer. Possibly roasted or baked??? Disappointing. Best Russian (Olivier) Salad anywhere, and I have ordered them many places.

Vareniki plus Olivier Salad excellent as always but pickle & carrot not diced as usual. In big chunks with other (diced) veggies. Blini horrible this time! Cooked too long, dried out, cold. So hard that even cutting with table knife was difficult. Threw away. Cakes were little pieces like in grocery snack pack—*terribly dry* layers—may have been old? Also had little flavor except icing. Will not order cakes again. This is a favorite restaurant. Must have been an off night.

Meat in the Plov was boiled and the sour crème was awful. Very over priced and not authentic flavor. Two thumbs way down.

Over cooked, lamb was so tough, I've ordered before and it was Delicious but I can be hit or miss with the plov dish
