Top tier Lomo Saltado! Generous portion, wonderful flavors, spicy salsa! The only thing lacking was the juices. There wasn't very much for the fries and rice to soak up, I'd have loved more of the stew. I've been sampling all the Lomo Saltado in the Metro DC Area and this is one of the best so far. The The Chicken Quesadilla came with all the fixings and there was enough for the whole thing. The 3 Empanadas were good, but if I ordered again I'd only get the beef ones, the chicken and veggie one were just so-so.

Quesadillas are my favorite in the area using Oaxaca cheese and we usually get The Steak Quesadilla. Meats are well seasoned. The Shrimp Burrito was HUGE and very flavorful.

Half Chicken was sooooo good ! I'm a few bites in but the flavor is amazing and it's so juicy ! and the portion is HUGE enough for 2 or lunch and dinner !

The chicken was delicious and moist. Plantains were yummy. The real star was the mashed potatoes from real potatoes...sooo good!

Normally, I love Pouoteca but the food today was mixed up. I ordered beef empanadas and instead got some kind of sweet filling in several of them. The others were SALTY!!!! Maybe they have a new chef. I talked it up to my friend who said she felt like she was eating salt and never ants anything from there again.
