Once again I ordered a pretty ridiculous amount of Sub Zero ice cream options for guests and let a 10-year-old friend design his own dessert. I should have videoed their faces. Amazement, Bliss and thoughts your desserts might actually be better than anything under the sun. Thank you!

To our disappointment, this big order ... disappointed." This review is not meant to be cruel but honest as $80+ is a lot to spend on ice cream, past experiences were phenomenal and we said so. Tonight's was the dire opposite so the review is fair and, unfortunately, accurate.
Each of the four nonberry flavors tasted as if the ice cream chef had been distracted by the World Cup and lost control as the sugar went in....sooo sweet that the sugar itself was the predominant flavor and sensation.
It dwarfed everything else regardless of emphasis be it coffee or cake. The Brûlée was inedible. All four were truthfully and they did not get eaten. The banana was so extreme it tasted as if it were artificial, made from a base that wasn't simply banana, a fruit with plenty of natural sweetness.
The proportion of mix-ins was generous but to a fault meaning they overwhelmed the texture.
We felt we were eating cold, wet, sugar cubes with intense hints of other flavors as if those frozen sugar cubes had been doused in concentrated syrups.
The raspberry-lemon was so heavy on the lemon it reminded the eater of lemon-scented cleaning products.
All of the cups arrived substantially melted. So...although we've really enjoyed our Sub Zero experiences in the past, an $80+ fail is too big to swallow. We won't be returning. If the owner reads this while these batches are still available, I invite them to taste test. Good chance they will be shocked.

I ordered this all the time and once again they failed to bring the waffle cone piece that is part of this order and that's the best.
