for the butter chicken, the chicken was a bit dry and the pieces where a bit too big, the sauce lacked a bit more spice and body.
about the palak paneer, the sauce needed more spice and flavor the paneer was great though.
for that price i would've expected a bit of rice or naan, I've had better tasting food from cheaper restaurants.

I ordered many times from the Bombay Mahal in Jean-Talon and have never had an issue. The spices and the food were always great. This one downtown is not good. The biryani was great but the palak paneer was rancid. I believe the cheese was not properly stored. The spinach fresh. I had to throw it out.
Its a shame because they do not share the quality of the other Bombay Mahal's.

Chicken curry, chana masala and dal tarka I liked. The butter chicken was too sweet. Didn't like the naan bread texture. Good portions. Great prices.

Fast service, very impressive chicken masala. I love the spice blend. Just right. As for the vutter chicken on the other hand, i'm not a big fan of the sauce, I think they need to improve it a bit. I've had much better.
